There will always be someone better than you.

I remind myself of this from time to time when I start to compare myself with others and find myself competing with them.

I’ve found that when we learn our own strengths and weaknesses and stop competing with our coworkers and peers, we learn to celebrate their wins and it makes us a better team.

Do I still find myself comparing my work to others?
Absolutely.

Does it stop me from bettering myself and constantly working on my character so I can celebrate both my own accomplishments and those of my peers?
Absolutely not.
