Experience
It’s sometimes hard to quantify someone’s experience with just words on a page. It’s why I’ve never been a fan of resumes. A few pages to figure out if someone is worthy of being interviewed, and if you don’t get it right, it goes in the circular file.
I have loads of experience spanning decades, but that’s not the whole picture. It’s how I use my experience, how I continue to add to it, and how I don’t let it go to my head that matters. Confidence is great, but if I don’t work well with others, or I don’t give a company my loyalty and passion, it’s not worth much.
Where I have confidence is in knowing that I not only bring experience and knowledge, but the ability to adjust, to handle issues on the fly as they arise, and to find a solution to any problem, even under pressure. And along with that I bring loyalty and a belief that you just don’t give up and drop the ball. You pick it up and run with it as far as you can until there are simply no more options.
The lists on this page are by no means exhaustive, and in many cases I’ve been able to learn the basics of a new software program or web platform in a day or two. I’m the guy who researches endlessly and watches loads of YouTube videos to learn new things quickly.
